Accepted files
Send the files you already have
All common CAD formats, including STEP, IGES, DXF, DWG and PDF drawings, up to 5 MB per upload. A 3D model with a 2D drawing gives the most accurate quote.
- STEP
.step · .stp
3D model for milled and turned parts.
- IGES
.iges · .igs
3D model from older CAD systems.
- DXF
.dxf
Flat profiles for laser cut sheet metal.
- DWG
.dwg
2D drawing with dimensions.
- PDF
.pdf
Drawing with tolerances, threads and finish.
How we work
From inquiry to satisfaction
The same path on every order, so you always know what happens next and what you'll receive.
- 01
Inquiry and drawing
You send your CAD file or drawing. We log the design and an engineer reviews it for manufacturability (DFM).
- 02
Quote with DFM notes
One quote with the price, the lead time and notes on anything that adds cost.
- 03
Sample part for reference
A sample part is made and sent to you for reference before production starts.
- 04
Production
The batch is made to the approved sample and inspected against your drawing.
- 05
Proof before the parts arrive
Photos of your parts, the QC reports and proof of dispatch reach you before the parts do.
- 06
Delivery and satisfaction survey
Parts arrive by standard delivery, and we ask how we did with a short customer satisfaction survey.
Pricing
What drives the price of a part
There is no price list: every part is quoted from its drawing. These are the things that move the number.
More than 50% below typical US and European machining prices and online manufacturing platforms
Geographic cost advantage.
- 01
Material
The series and grade, and the stock size the part is cut from.
- 02
Geometry and setups
Deep pockets, thin walls and features on many faces take more machine time.
- 03
Tolerances
Tighter tolerances need slower cuts and more inspection. Only call them out where the part needs them.
- 04
Quantity
Setup and programming are shared across the batch, so the price per part falls as quantity rises.
- 05
Finish
Anodizing, plating, powder coating and other finishes add a step after machining.
- 06
Inspection and reports
CMM inspection report and DFM analysis are available on request and quoted with the parts.

FAQ
Questions buyers ask before they upload
Dedicated team with in-house technical experts, on email and WhatsApp. Within 6 hours, whatever your time zone.
rfq@maketeq.comWhatsApp +91 95747 71147Is there a minimum order quantity?
No minimum order quantity. Send a single prototype or a production batch; the quote prices the quantity you ask for.
Are my drawings kept confidential?
NDA as standard. Files shared only with our production team.
What if my file is larger than 5 MB?
Email it to rfq@maketeq.com with your quantity, material and finish, and we'll quote it the same way. Use the same address for CAD formats the upload doesn't accept.
What tolerances can you hold?
We work to the tolerances on your drawing and confirm them in the quote. What we can hold depends on the part: geometry, size, wall thickness, material, process, finish and how the feature is inspected. For machined parts, down to ±0.005 mm (±0.0002") on request, depending on the part.
How do I pay?
Partial advance on order; balance before dispatch. Payment accepted in all currencies.
How are parts shipped?
Worldwide delivery. Usually DHL or FedEx; local carriers such as DPD in the UK where it suits the country; a specific carrier on request. Customs paperwork handled where required.
