Maketeq is a CNC machining company that makes custom metal parts to drawing for manufacturers and resellers worldwide. We machine and form metal parts by CNC milling, turning and 5-axis machining, and by sheet metal laser cutting and bending. Our tagline sums up what we promise: precision-made, globally delivered.
Who is Maketeq?
Maketeq is an established business, delivering parts to customers. Our founding team are mechanical engineers, so every drawing is read by someone who knows how the part will be made and used.
We supply buyers who order metal parts to a drawing and expect them to fit first time: OEMs and component manufacturers, machine builders, job shops sending overflow work, contract manufacturers, engineering firms, and distributors and resellers.
What do we make?
Custom metal parts, from first order to repeat production:
| Process | Typical parts |
|---|---|
| CNC milling | Housings, brackets, plates, manifolds, fixtures |
| CNC turning | Shafts, pins, bushings, spacers, threaded fittings |
| 5-axis and precision machining | Parts with features on several faces; close-tolerance bores and fits |
| Sheet metal laser cutting and bending | Brackets, covers, guards, enclosures |
Machining and sheet metal from one supplier means the machined and formed parts of one assembly come from the same place, to the same quality standard. We work in metals (aluminum, stainless steel, mild steel, tool steel, titanium, brass and copper), and in plastics and other materials on request. See our guide to CNC machining materials.
How do we work?
Every order follows the same path:
- You send the drawing
STEP, IGES, DXF, DWG or PDF, up to 5 MB. A work email is all we ask for.
- An engineer reviews it
We check it for manufacturability and flag anything that adds cost, before you're quoted.
- You get one quote
With the price, the lead time and DFM notes. The lead time on the quote is the date we work to.
- We make, inspect and ship
Parts are measured against your drawing and shipped with their documents, usually by DHL or FedEx.
Our technical team replies within 6 hours by email or WhatsApp, whatever your time zone. You deal directly with our engineers, not a sales queue.
Who makes your parts?
Parts are made in house and through our verified manufacturing partners. Whichever site machines your part, it is held to one ISO 9001 quality standard and inspected against your drawing before it ships. We guarantee consistent quality from first order to repeat production.
Your files are protected: NDA as standard, with files shared only with our production team.
How do we check quality?
We are ISO 9001 certified. Every order ships with standard QC inspection, material certification (mill certs) and ISO 9001 documentation:
- Standard QC inspection
- Material certification (mill certs)
- ISO 9001 documentation
A CMM inspection report and DFM analysis are available on request. Tolerances depend on the part and are confirmed in each quote, down to ±0.005 mm (5 microns) on request for suitable machined features.
Why do buyers move part numbers to us?
- Cost: more than 50% below typical US and European machining prices and online manufacturing platforms. The saving comes from a geographic cost advantage, not less inspection.
- Paperwork: QC inspection, mill certificates and ISO 9001 documentation with every order; a CMM inspection report and DFM analysis on request.
- One supplier: machining and sheet metal from one supplier, so one assembly has one point of contact.
- Engineers on call: a technical team on email and WhatsApp that replies within 6 hours.
Who is on the team?
Our founding team are mechanical engineers. They review drawings, write our engineering guides and answer technical questions.

Prashant writes our engineering guides, and Krutik reviews them, so the technical content on this site is checked by a second engineer before it’s published. Read their guide to how CNC machining works.
Where do we deliver?
We deliver worldwide, with customs paperwork handled where required. We usually ship with DHL or FedEx, and use local carriers such as DPD in the UK where it suits the country.
We accept payment in all currencies, with a partial advance on order and the balance before dispatch.
What is it like to work with us?
Here are the terms most buyers ask about before their first order:
| Topic | How it works |
|---|---|
| Order size | No minimum order quantity: from a single part to a production batch |
| Files | STEP, IGES, DXF, DWG or PDF drawings, up to 5 MB per upload |
| Quote | One quote with the price, the lead time and DFM notes from an engineer |
| Lead time | Confirmed on every quote, based on the part, quantity, finish and destination |
| Payment | A partial advance on order and the balance before dispatch, in any currency |
| Documents | QC inspection, mill certs and ISO 9001 documentation with every order |
| Confidentiality | NDA as standard; files shared only with our production team |
| Shipping | Usually DHL or FedEx, with customs paperwork handled where required |
| Replies | Within 6 hours by email or WhatsApp |
Larger files? Email them to rfq@maketeq.com, or send the PDF drawing first and the model afterwards.
What happens after you send a drawing?
An engineer reads the drawing before anything is priced. If a feature will add cost, such as a tolerance tighter than the part needs or a sharp internal corner, we say so in the DFM notes and suggest an alternative. You decide whether to change the drawing or keep it as it is. Either way, the quote you accept is the one we work to.
Who is a good fit?
We suit buyers who already work from drawings and want the same part made the same way every time: a machine builder reordering brackets, a distributor supplying parts to a network, or a job shop moving overflow work. If you’re still developing a design, our DFM notes help you get it ready for production.
What don’t we do?
Being clear about scope saves you time. We don’t offer injection molding, 3D printing or waterjet cutting. We make parts to a drawing. For the industries we most often supply, see industries we supply.
